YPP Offers Edolites Free Registration, Unveils Party Logo

The Young Progressive Party (YPP) in Edo State has begged the people to register freely with the party to prepare for the next local government elections.
The party also used the forum to unveil the party’s logo to members who are interested to work with the party and the party flag bearers in the next elections.
The party logo was unveiled at the birthday celebration of the Edo State chairman of the party and the party’s registration exercise in Benin City.
The Edo State chairman, Dr. Royal Otasowie, told guests that Young Progressive Party (YPP), is a party for young minds.
Dr Otasowie said: “I decided to bring my people together because of the strategy meeting we held recently to make people know about the YPP. YPP is a party for young minds. People are tired of the present government in Nigeria.
“We need to change the narrative. The masses are supposed to be enjoying the dividends of democracy but it is only the rich that is enjoying it, instead of the poor. We need a party that would produce good candidates that would bring Nigeria back to the original picture.
“Nigeria is dead, we need someone that would bring it back to life. That’s why we came into existence to change the narrative. Those big parties like PDP, APC, could not give the dividends of democracy to the people. ”
He thanked God for the opportunity for another year to his life. “I want to give God the glory for adding more year to my years. Many people were born the same day with me, but some of them have died.
“Everyday people sleep they can no longer wake up. I thank God for my life. I want to appreciate everyone who are there for me. By the grace of God Nigeria is going to change for better”, YPP boss stressed.
President and founder of One Foundation, A.K.A. Ultimate Equal, Comrade Patrick Eholor, wished Dr. Royal Otasowie long life, good health and longevity and prayed the party will be able to make a difference.
Eholor said:” l wish him long life, good health and joy, which make him aspire and to do something different. We have too many political parties. YPP has been observing the political situation and I believe they will make a difference in future.
Chairman of the planning committee, Mrs. Victoria Dele Musa, said YPP is giving out free registration exercise forms to members of the public to register with the party and to also celebrate the state chairman’s birthday.
On the party’s chances to win the next local government polls in Edo state, Mrs. Musa said, “Our chance is very high because we stand for progress, change, truth and growth. We will fight corruption and godfatherism. We are a new party, young and vibrant. We need a total change in politics and want the masses to enjoy the dividends of democracy.”
